I finished this guy up as well.

Plague brute2
Went for a little more tanish skin on this one. The blending on the claw was quite a bit easier using contrast.
Ruins done
Contrast does work for terrain as well. A few changes in use from on models, but I got it to look like the rest of them.

Bloat-Drone 4
It’s really cool the way that you can get to the good and fun stuff faster now. I actually spent the same amount of time on this guy as normal, just that instead of all of the time on the beginning basecoats and washes, I can spend more time on the details and the gooking things up parts.

Poxbringer
This guy is an HQ for a demon force. Really had a lot of fun on the skin and didn’t take long at all.
Bearer icon
This guy is the newer plague bearers with an Icon. Contrast is really been great to work with. It gets me to the highlighting and special effects point soooooo much faster.
Plague marine contrast
This is the first one I’ve. Done from start to finish using the contrasts. The color is hard to replicate from what I’ve been doing, but I’m happy with the change.

Plague drone4
Mixing up the contrast with the medium on this one. The wings have a light hint f blue on the veins that I’m really proud of.

I wanted to show Bill how contrast worked tonight, so I painted a pair of primaris ultra marines up in about 2 hours. Not my best work, but I haven’t painted one of these in about 25 years and I would say that they are playable.
Beast of Nurgle3
Contrast is so useful for models like these. I did the same color scheme as the slug yesterday and added some pink to purple glazing on the tentacles. Nurgle’s rot to finish him off and he is ready to go.

Blighthauler3
I wanted to get this guy finished as well. The underskin is done I for glazes that I made up using nagoroth night, rakarth flesh, druchi violet, and beil-tan green. The armor was done with death guard green and then contrasted with plaguebearer flesh. Washed in Agra’s earth shade and then highlighted with orgyn camo. Then rusted up good.
Nurgling5
These guys were painted using skeleton horde over cadian flesh basecoat. The warts were done in ork flesh dotted with flashgits yellow. The mushy parts were done in fleshtearers red and then highlighted with cadian fleshtone. The eyes and mouth were nazdreg yellow.
gellerpox 2 and 3
This is some of the gellerpox stuff. An eyebiter and a sludgegrub. The wings were done in administrum white and then highlighted with the really bright blue one that I can’t remember the name of right now. The body was done in abbadon black and the ne dry brushed with pallid wych flesh and then coated in the helix greenstone technical paint. The slug was done in ork flesh on the top and plaguebearer flesh on the bottom. Skeleton horde for the teeth and the moût parts were done in volupus pink. With a druchi violet line wash. The top scales were coated in the helix again.
Bearer 18
I stayed with the same colors with this guy as the pox walkers. The sword is done in warp green and then done over in basillicum grey.
Pox 35 and 36
These contrast paints are the bomb so far. These 2 were done with the same colors. I’m finding out that dry brushing is coming back into style. Each was done in ork flesh and ultramarines blue. Then I metaled up with leadbelcher and fulgurite copper on the metallics and went over that with the basillicum grey. Along with the belts and pouches and other little things. Dry brushed over the blue with teclaw blue and the skin with nurgling green. Warts done in genestealer purple and washed with druchi violet shade over the warts and the funky parts.
