Necromunda door1

This is a door for the Necromunda board game.  This is a great model that is really easy to work on.  I am working with the rust blending and the patina highlights.  I wanted a very dirty feeling on this.

Beast2

Another beast of nurgle.  Really trying to play with the flow of this one.  I was also trying out the color wheel concept a bit.

Ruins tan2

This is the second half of one of the ruins kit to go with another building I already did.  The beauty of these guys is that the glue point is the pillar.  Almost any end to any of the newer buildings will glue together at almost any angle, and they work together between the kits.

They will also stand all by themselves as partial walls so you can concentrate on painting them individually.  At least all of that sounds good, and is turning out pretty good so far.

new plague add

So....  I found myself getting into a painting funk because I was working on too much stuff at one time again.  It’s funny how that was able to happen again.

Anyhoo.........  This guys has some new rust effects and dribbly parts and I also changed the base rim to a darker brown.

Enjoy!

ruins1 tan

This is the start of the new GW terrain.  It is a bit pricey, but well worth it if you have nothing at all.  All of the pieces from each of the kits seem to work with each other.  It’s pretty crazy and since the plan is to have more detail and better looking terrain, this seemed to be a way to move.

It’s been a lot of fun to start working on these too.

Mysterious mansion stuff

These are more from the mansion game.

Doc

The last time I played Necromunda with Nigel, I bought a Doc ‘hanger on’.  So I thought I would get a model for him, just in case things go horribly wrong in our campaign and I have to fight on my base turf.

This guy was fun and simple to paint up.

Corrupted wolf2

I didn’t get pictures of the first wolf, but here’s #2.

This one’s for Steve, the only pure wolf that I know.

Typhus

I’m really excited about this one.  Painted different color scheme than others. I tried to mimic the GW job.....  to a certain extent.  This was much more careful, more thin washes (especially the pink) and some mixes of colors in the Destroyer Hive parts on the back.  This was also the first model I’ve ever done ‘sub assembly’ style.

I really wish I could do some better picts of it.  The layering doesn’t quite look as good as in real life, but I’m extremely happy with my progress so far.

New ‘best painted ever’ model right here, and a stepping stone to the big guy.

Building3

Well....  this is the last of the old ones.  A bit of mixing the kits as well.  The purple really is sharp.

Building2

This one is the old admin building from a few years ago.

Added projects

In an effort to, as Bill puts it, “not play with middle school terrain that looks like crap”!  I will be adding some buildings that I’m working on towards that effort.  The storage of these things is what’s going to be the next problem, Because I suddenly care about how this is handled and bashed around.

That’s another issue I’ll get into at a later date.  Anyway......  mechanics building 1

Off beat

I am working on some stuff for a friend that’s from a board/app game.  I didn’t think that this fig would even take any paint at all.  He turned out rather dashing though.
