Had a ton of fun with this guy.  Focus point is on the pimples on the bug.  Wanted to really try to get the ‘almost ready to pop’ look.  Enjoy!

More newer color schemes.  The orange with the grey collar worked out much better than I expected. More technicals and I even think that I have the oxide patina effect working well on this one.

This is an old metal guy from a few decades ago, upgraded with a few bits from the new kits.  The funny part is that the size of the new to the old is not that noticeable, unlike the plague marines themselves.

I have been using a few more weathering steps and some different metals on this one and the attempt to ‘yucky’ it up is still ongoing.  I am liking this style.

I’ve been told recently that I am a bit too clean with my nurgle guys lately.  I’m not sure I completely agree with that, but.....  in the efforts to upgrade my painting skills, I have gotten a bit more ‘yucky’ on this guy.  The skin is what I’m most proud of on this guy.  9 colors . 5 browns, 2 greys, and 2 reds all mixed up and then shaded with 3 colors, black, brown ,yellow.  Enjoy!

By the By....  It seems that the upgrade to blogspot has left me unable to comment on my own blog or anybody else’s right at the moment.  I’m working on it, but I am not very good with computers so it might take awhile to get it working again.  Please keep you comments coming.  I have enjoyed them and they help me immensely.  Thanks again.

Old school lord

Jay should remember this guy.  He converted him many moons ago and I have reconverted him for 8th edition.  That’s right....  an all metal second edition chaos lord with plasma pistol and plague sword.  I’m working with the rust effects a bit more diligently on this one and am very happy with my eye work on this one.

This one has the fleshmower on it.  I am working on blending some new metallics and some different ugly color patterns on this one.  Lenses are still providing me some stubbornness.
