Contrast PM2

This is getting to be fun with these guys now.  Maybe a little too much rusty goodness, but I envisioned these guys just walking out of the cesspool originally, but just didn’t know how to get there.  AND I kinda liked the clean look on the first dudes I did on this army.  This is what I had in mind though.

Ambot

This is my first contrast paint over a metallic.  Leadbelcher was the base spray and then I went over it with blood angels red(contrast) and then fleshtearrers red(contrast) on the panels.  The rest of the metals were a mix of everything that I have old and new.  I wanted to put some weathering on this guy originally, but scrapped it after he came out so clean.  I went over all of the metallics with basilicanum grey(contrast).  And the lights and heat areas are the 3 new gem paints over the metallics that are there.

The red got a dry brush of cadian fleshtone, and then the yellows went on with the hazard stripes.  Out of practice doing those since the orks, but will get better at it again.

Bearer25-26

One old school and one new school.  The yellow and the tan’s worked well for the general ‘smoothness’ across the models.

Pox45-46

Same thing here.  I think that my next batch of guys will go from purple spectrum at the start.

Nurgling6-7

Really trying to work out the contrasts on these next few.  This one I went from the gray basecoat, then dark to light on the skin.  The horns were the first color of them when I started.

sludgegrub 2-4 and a glitchling

The rest of these little buggers and a new one.  The glitchling is a variant of the nurgling with the extra ability to affect shooting weapons on a very low percentage roll.  A bit of flavor to any 40k death guard force.

eyebiter2-6

The special guys are almost all done.  These are going to be doubling as playing pieces and objectives.
